General Conduct Rules

By signing up for the tournament, you agree to adhere to the tournament and general rules

  • Treat others as you would be treated.

  • Be honest, be committed, play fair. No cheating.

  • Show respect to all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.

  • Be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.

  • Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to: Hate speech, offensive behavior, or verbal abuse related to sex, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion. (No excessive trash talking)

  • No Soliciting on site.

  • NO Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).

  • NO Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.

  • NO Posting or threatening to post other people's personally identifying information ("doxing").

  • DO NOT give any Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes unwelcome sexualized comments, jokes, and sexual advances.

  • DO NOT Advocate for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviors.

  • Conflux Gaming and Agua Caliente Resort and Spa has the right to refuse service at any time for any reason.

  • ALL PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING ON TIME TO EVERY MATCH. Use the Smash.gg bracket system to see your next match and placement as some matches may end quicker than normal. Conflux Gaming or Agua Caliente is not liable for any competitors who are not present.

  • Players are responsible for Signing up on-time for both online registry and physical location registry; We do not accommodate confirmations online, phone calls, and having others to vouch for you that you are signing up without you present. Players need to be present for the physical registry to participate in the tournaments during the physical location signups however if there are errors of signing up or removed from tournament/s  Please show verification email that YOU the player did sign up for the tournament but also the second email verifying that you were removed.

  • If a player is not present for their match after being called by the announcer, T.O. Conflux Staff or Judge, a 2-minute warning will be issued then after the 2 minutes immediate disqualification and non-present competitor will be given a loss and placed into losers bracket if applicable.

  • Average Event Time: 3 Hours but may get-go 4 Hours (pre-setup control configuration before event starts)

  • Must have 8 players to run a bracket. If there are not enough competitors to run a bracket.

  • Conflux Gaming has final say over ALL rules and rulings on a case by case basis. If competitors continue to argue, bully, intimidate or be disruptive to ANYONE will result in a permanent ban Conflux Gaming does not condone toxicity in any event period. We understand the high level of competition, and it can get intense but, it is the responsibility of everyone to show sportsmanship and respect to everyone around them win or lose. Thank You for your support in making a positive experience for everyone.

  • DO NOT impersonate any person or entity (example's: pro-player or player, twitch streamers, YouTubers, etc.), falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity, or access the Services accounts of others without permission, forge another person's digital signature, misrepresent the source, identity, or content of information transmitted via the Services, or perform any other similar fraudulent activity will result in immediate name change or removal from tournament and possible band.

  • Conflux Gaming may change tournament rulings as needed for any reason. In the event of time constraints and venue discretion.

Permanent Weekly Wednesday Tournaments.
Smash Ultimate Pro Tournament 1v1 (Console Nintendo Switch)
  • 24 Players Double Elimination

  • 2 out of 3 games, 3 stock per game

  • 3 out of 5 games for Grand Finals

  • Clock: 7 Minutes

  • Starters & Counterpicks Stages (info at registration desk)

  • Rock, Paper, Scissor. Winner decides on 1st Starter stage

  • Winner of 1st game selects character first. Loser selects next stage (starters or counters) and character second. Repeat for the next game.

  • No Items, No Stage Hazards.

  • No Character Restrictions.

  • In the event of a tie breaker between both finalist. One game one stock will be played to determine the winner.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Average Event Time: 3 Hours (pre-setup control configuration before event starts)

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

  • Players that are ranked in the top 24 of Conflux Smash Tournaments can only register to be in the Pro Tournament.

Smash Ultimate Novice Tournament 1v1 (Console Nintendo Switch)
  • 32 Players Single Elimination

  • 2 out of 3 games, 3 stock per game

  • 3 out of 5 games for Finals

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Console Nintendo Switch)
  • 32 Player Single Elimination

  • 4 Players per race

  • Course ill be chosen by Conflux

  • Mode: Versus Race

  • 150 cc

  • CPU: Off

  • Teams: Off

  • Smart Steering Off

  • Auto-Accelerate: Off

  • In the event of a tie breaker between both finalist. One game will be played to determine the winner.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Average Event Time: 3 Hours (Pre Stup Control Configuration before Event starts).

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

Mortal Kombat 11 (Console PS4)
  • 16 Player Double Elimination

  • 2 out of 3 Rounds

  • 2 out of 3 Games

  • 3 out of 5 Games for Finals

  • Clock 60 sec

  • No Character Customization or Variations

  • Random Stage Select

  • In the event of a tie breaker between both finalist. One game will be played to determine the winner.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

Dragon Ball Fighter Z (Console PS4)
  • 16 Player Double Elimination

  • Best 2 out of 3 rounds / 2 out of 3 games

  • Clock: 300 seconds

  • Default Handicap

  • Default Damage

  • No Character Restrictions

  • In the event of a tie breaker between both finalist. One game will be played to determine the winner.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

Street Fighter V (Console PS4)
  • 16 Player Double Elimination

  • 2 out of 3 Rounds

  • 2 out of 3 Games

  • 3 out of 5 Games for Finals

  • Clock 99 Sec.

  • No Character Restrictions

  • Training Stage, Skies of Honor, Flamenco Tavern, and Kanzuki Beach Stage are Banned

  • In the event of a tie breaker between both finalist. One game will be played to determine the winner.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

Tekken 7 (Console PS4)
  • 16 Player Double Elimination

  • 3 out of 5 Rounds

  • 2 out of 3 Games

  • 3 out of 5 Games for Finals

  • Clock 60 sec

  • No Items or Customizations during match

  • Random Stage Select

  • In the event of a tie breaker between both finalist. One game will be played to determine the winner.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

Soul Calibur 6 (Console Xbox One)
  • 16 players Double Elimination

  • 3 out of 5 rounds, 2 out of 3 games

  • 3 out of 5 games for Finals

  • Clock: 60 sec

  • Random Stage Select

  • No customizing allowed, colors, names or items during tournament match. A loss will be given for those who do during the Match.

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket, then console will be changed to free play.

Madden 20 (Consoles Xbox One/PS4)
  • 16 players Single Elimination

  • Players will randomly play on either PS4 or Xbox

  • Head to Head Mode

  • Skill Level: All-Madden

  • Quarter Length: 3 to 5 min depending on the number of players signed up

  • Game Style: Competitive

  • Accelerated Clock: Off

  • Fatigue: Off

  • Event Type: Quick Presentation

  • Weather: Clear

  • Average Event Time: 3 hours

  • If player is not present for their match, a 2 minute warning will be issued before disqualification.

  • Must have 8 players to run bracket. If there is not enough competitors to run a bracket then console will be changed to free play.
