ADDITIONAL RULES

  • Stage Striking -

  • Players play a best-of-1 Rock-Paper-Scissors, and winner may choose to either strike a stage first or select a port first. Stages are struck in a 1-2-2-1 order.

  • Stage Bans -

  • After each Game of a Match, before selection of stages and/or characters, the player who has won the previous game may ban two stages from either the starter or counter pick list. This ban does not persist throughout the Match.

 GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT 

BY SIGNING UP FOR A TOURNAMENT WITH CONFLUX GAMING,
YOU AGREE TO ADHERE TO OUR RULES & POLICIES OUTLINED BELOW.

  • Treat others as you would be treated, (Honor, Respect, and Sportsmanship).

  • Be honest, be committed, play fair. No cheating.

  • Show respect to all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.

  • Be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.

  • Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to: Hate speech, offensive behavior, or verbal abuse related to sex, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion. (No excessive trash talking)

  • No Soliciting on site.

  • NO Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).

  • No Coaching. Coaching will result in disqualification.

  • NO Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.

  • NO Posting or threatening to post other people's personally identifying information ("doxing").

  • DO NOT give any Unwelcomed sexual attention. This includes unwelcome sexualized comments, jokes, and sexual advances.

  • DO NOT Advocate for, or encouraging of, any "toxic" behaviors. 

  • All prizes will be paid out in cash the night an event closes (unless otherwise stated). In the event a winner leaves before collecting their prize, Conflux Gaming will attempt contact, and hold this prize for 30 days. After this point Conflux Gaming will consider those prizes as "abandoned".

  • All "Qualifier" tournaments will have top 3 payouts in a 60% 30% 10% split.

  • All "Finals" tournaments will have top 8 payout in a 50% 20% 13% 7% 3% 3% 2% 2% split. (Finals pay structure changes from Season to Season, Event to Event. Information about this will be presented with the respective Events. This is for example basis)

  • All "Rotational" tournaments will have top 3 payouts in a 60% 30% 10% split.

  • All "High Score Neon Arcade" events will only payout the player with the highest score.

  • All winners who collect their prizes agree to fill out a W9 for tax purposes, and will be issued a 1099-MISC at the end of the year.

  • All attendees/guests/players of any event agree and give consent for being recorded, captured, and used in promotional material.

  • Conflux Gaming and Agua Caliente Resort and Spa has the right to refuse service at any time for any reason.

  • ALL PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING ON TIME TO EVERY MATCH.(includes the event times stated for registration/check-in times and the following scheduled times stated on the event page) Use the Start.gg bracket system to see your next match and placement as some matches may end quicker than normal. Conflux Gaming or Agua Caliente is not liable for any competitors who are not present.

  • Players are responsible for Signing up on-time for both online registry and physical location registry; We do not accommodate confirmations online, phone calls, and having others to vouch for you that you are signing up without you present. Players need to be present for the physical registry to participate in the tournaments during the physical location signups however if there are errors of signing up or removed from tournament/s Please show verification email that YOU the player did sign up for the tournament but also the second email verifying that you were removed.

  • If a player is not present for their match after being called by the announcer, T.O. Conflux Staff or Judge, a 2 minute warning will be issued then after the 2 minutes immediate disqualification and non present competitor will be given a loss and placed into losers bracket if applicable. This disqualification will result in a strike against the competitor, once at 3 strikes in a single season, the player will be unable to sign up for tournaments online ( Start.gg and etc.) The disqualified player will have to sign up in person for the remainder of the season.

  • Tournament/Event start times may vary. (Average Event Time: 3 Hours, but may go over 4 Hours.)

  • Substitutes MAY NOT replace a player in an on-going tournament. (Your "friend" CANNOT play for you)

  • Age restriction: Must be 18 or older with valid government issued photo I.D.

  • Conflux Gaming may change tournament rulings as needed for any reason. In the event of time constraints and venue discretion.

  • Must have 8 players to run a bracket. If there are not enough competitors to run a bracket, it will be closed.

  • Conflux Gaming has final say over ALL rules and rulings on a case by case basis. If competitors continue to argue, bully, intimidate or be disruptive to ANYONE will result in a permanent ban Conflux Gaming does not condone toxicity in any event period. We understand the high level of competition, and it can get intense but, it is the responsibility of everyone to show sportsmanship and respect to everyone around them win or lose. Thank You for your support in making a positive experience for everyone.

  • DO NOT impersonate any person or entity (example's: pro-player or player, twitch streamers, YouTubers, etc.), falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity, or access the Services accounts of others without permission, forge another person's digital signature, misrepresent the source, identity, or content of information transmitted via the Services, or perform any other similar fraudulent activity will result in immediate name change or removal from tournament and possible band.

  • DO NOT impersonate Conflux Gaming staff or falsely claim affiliation with Conflux Gaming.

  • All those who are attending the event are responsible for their own proper hygiene, this requires all to “be clean and wear clean clothing.”

  • In the event of a “Cease and Desist” where Conflux Gaming has to change specific titles, all points and rank standings will transfer over to the replacement title.

  • Conflux Gaming has final say on all display names during tournaments, all names must be of a PG rating. All profanity, slurs, or excessive joke/meme type names will be censored at the discretion of Conflux Gaming.

  • All Pass/fee/cover purchases are made with the host venue, (360 Esports After Dark - Agua Caliente).

  • Refunds are left to the sole discretion of the venue if refunds are available. No refunds will be issued by Conflux Gaming.

  • All players much abide by all tournament rules.

  • Players are allowed to bring adapters to use none preparatory controllers on other consoles. (For example, Using an adapter on a PlayStation 5 to use their Xbox 360 Controller) In the event your adapter lags or doesn't work, it is on the reasonability of the player who owns the adapter to insure their device is fully functional. If the player's adapter doesn't work, that player will be allowed to use a controller provided by Conflux Gaming. All Xim like devices are banned from all Conflux Events.
